In mind arises the thought "God," a thought many identify with in the realm of perceptual dualities, and arising by contrast. What, or Whom, is before the arising of "God," THAT unknown and unknowable, for unconditioned and absent contrast? Is that you? If you say "I" or "God," you have stated a conditioned within contrasts, arising by contrast. Absolutely, there is no "I," and so there is no "Not-I." Absolutely, there is no "God," even as there is no "Not-God." "I" and "God" arise in the mind by contrast, and each is conditioned by and contrasted with the other. "God" is not "I," and "I" is not "God," so the reasonsing goes. But all that takes place in the linguistics of mind, conditioned by duality and unable to express purely Awareness prior to manifoldness. Mind is dualistic, conditioned, and contrastic. What arises from duality is of the nature of duality.
Consciousness draws the mind Home, and Home is Silence, where is known the unconditioned free of contrast. In THAT, we rest in peace and bliss, gratefully. From THAT, the potentials of all Life evolve and take form, only to dissolve again into Nothingness. Yet, the Nothingness is the Plenitude of Eternity, or the Ever-Fecund Source. This Nothingness is a Pregnant Beingness free of contrast with Non-Being. We, finally, find quietude in that Silence.

For a reason you are called a human being, not a human doing.
